It was BAFTA night last night and we spotted Kirsten Stewart, not only rockin the red carpet in this gorgeous outfit, but picking up the Orange Rising Star Award!

This was the only award decided by public vote so we were really pleased our fave Twilight heroine nabbed the award! Her beautiful Chanel dress made her 1 of the best dressed celebs on the night but U can check out the rest of the best dressed here!

Surprisingly Avatar didn’t pick up the Best Film, which was given to The Hurt Locker instead, but it still managed to pick up the Best Visual Effects award. Other winners on the night included Colin Firth 4 Best Actor, Carey Mulligan 4 Best Actress & Up 4 Best Animated Film – Kirsten is still our personal fave tho!

This has got 2 B our tastiest spotted yet – it’s Pancake Day!!

Yup now is the time 2 put UR flipping skills 2 the test! We absolutely  LOVE pancakes so we’ve copied a basic recipe 4 U below. Make sure U make sum 2nite! Our fav topping has 2 B lemon & sugar or Banana & chocolate – mmmmmm!

Ingredients
100g Plain Flour
1 Large Egg
300ml Milk
Pinch Salt

1. Mix the flour and salt in a bowl
2. Make a well in the centre and then break the egg in the centre
3. Mix into the flour, gradually adding the milk and beat until you have a smooth batter.
4. Pour a little into an oiled saucepan and cook on a medium heat for 1 min or until golden brown on the underside
5. Then flip the pancake over and cook the next side
6. Repeat until the mixture has gone!

It can B really tough tryin 2 tell a guy U like them, but don’t worry we’ve made it a little easier. If UR not keen on sending a card (let’s face sum guys aren’t that in2 them NEway) why not say it with a gift? We picked our top 3 gifts 4 guys that we know they’ll love!

Only released today, this is the l8test Disney film, set in Jazz-era New Orleans. The film tells the story of Princess Tiana & her fateful kiss with a frog (aka Prince Naveen) who desperately wants 2 B human again!
This modern take on a classic fairy tale is well worth seeing with plenty of laughs and giggles – make sure you keep an eye out for Louis a trumpet playing, jazz loving alligator! Ahhh U can’t beat a bit of classic Disney  !

Nail Art is a fantastic way 2 express UR creativity! Scarlett & Crimson released their own Totally Nailed set this Christmas but don’t worry if U didn’t grab a set – we’ve listed all U need below & some easy artistic looks!

U will need
Nail File
2 contrasting colours of varnish
1 clear varnish
Glitter
Toothpick
Nail Polish Remover
Masking tape

First ensure UR nails R in good condition – clean & file them, making sure U only file in one direction. Then just choose from one of the 3 looks below!

All that Glitters – Easy

If U don’t have a metallic nail varnish like the one in the S&C kit never fear, just follow the steps below 2 cre8 the look.

1 – Apply a clear layer of varnish as a base coat on UR first nail
2 – While the varnish is still wet, dust UR choice of glitter very lightly over the nail.
3 – Wait for the first layer 2 dry & then apply another clear layer of varnish over the glitter.
4 – When the top layer is dry, wipe off any excess around the nail with a cotton bud soaked in a little nail varnish remover.

Tips – U can also experiment with glitter on top of a coloured varnish. Fine glitter also gives a smoother finish &, if U want UR toes 2 match, make sure U use toe separators 2 make it easier!

Flower Power – Medium

If U have the S&C set you should have some flower decals which makes this look easier but if not we've included an alternative method.

1 – Apply a clear layer of varnish as a base coat or a colour of your choice.
2 – Peel off a decal and press 2 the nail.
3  – If U don’t have decals,  cre8 a flowers using dots –  Just dip a cocktail stick in2 UR nail varnish and then dot this onto UR nail - 1 dot in the middle & 6 different coloured dots around this
4 – Add a layer of top coat.

Tips – If U find drawing the dots difficult, try using jewels or small sequins instead.

Reverse French Manicure – Difficult

This look has been all over the catwalks & is also a personal fave of 50’s siren Dita Von Teese!

1 – After applying a clear base coat, paint on your chosen colour of nail varnish & wait for it 2 dry.
2 – Apply a contrasting shade of nail varnish in a half moon shape around the end of the nail (like in our pic)
3 – Wait 4 the second varnish to dry before applying a final top coat!

Tips – If U don’t have a steady hand, U can always cut masking tape in a semi circle & stick over the first coat before applying the half moon shape. This shud give U a clean line!
