And knowing that she'll never eat her mum's famous organic birthday fritters again makes her special day one she'd rather forget than celebrate. But help is at hand...To help ease Crimson out of her birthday boycott, her best friend, Scarlett, suggests the girls have booth at the harvest fair, and sell Lenore's famous birthday fritters. Crimson soon finds a way to remember her mum and enjoy celebrating her big day, and along the way she realizes that although things in this Darq world may not be perfect, sometimes, all you need to turn things around is a little comfort food and a lot of help from your friends.

Count Down 2 New Moon! 17 Nov 2009

This isn’t really a spot as we’ve been counting down 4 aaaaages BUT the nxt film in the Twilight saga, New Moon, is out @ cinemas from the 20th of November!

Now if, like us, U just can’t wait why not pass the time by planning a Twilight party! Basically after going 2 see the film, organize a Twilight themed sleep over. Just follow the steps below!

Invites – make sure your invites are written in a suitable Edwardian font. If UR writing them on word, try Blackadder ITC or Brush Script MT.

Food – make red velvet cupcakes (see recipe in Crimson’s latest blog!) & drink blood (also called cranberry juice).

Guess the Quote – split the group in2 Team Edward & Team Jacob with custom badges & have a ‘guess which character said the quote’ competition. Appoint a ‘Bella’ as the person who chooses the quotes & awards points!

Fortune Telling – Alice Cullen has the ability 2 see the future. Get every1 to write 3 imagined future events on slips of paper. Fold them up and mix in a bowl and have every1 select 3 to tell their fortune.

Cullen Makeover – appoint your friend that is most like Alice Cullen to do a make-over on another friend. Get UR ‘Alice’ 2 choose the style of the makeover & then make sure every1 helps with either the makeup or clothes!

Leaving Gifts – give everyone a charm bracelet like Bella’s. U can always customize the charms for each person like Jacob and Edward do 4 Bella. If U can’t find charms, just make friendship bracelets in UR friends’ fave colors!

We spotted a Darqling feed on the message board ‘bout this nu series & thought we better check it out. Turns out this is another series recommended by our fave author Stephanie Meyer!

Check out Gwen Stefani’s uber cute line of winter fragrances! After the successful launch of her clothing line, L.A.M.B (love, angel, music, baby), Gwen created 5 beautiful fragrances 2 match.

They’re called Love, Lil Angel, Music, Baby & their ringleader is G (Gwen). Each girl has her own personality, sense of style &, obviously, different scent. The scents range from tropical flavours 2 sensuous florals & romantic musks.

Tho these fragrances hav been out 4 some time, they’ve just been given a winter revamp! The fragrances remain the same but they now come dressed 4 winter in the Snow Bunnies collection! If U haven’t tried or bought 1 of these yet then why not pick up the winter edition? Even if U already hav a fragrance U can always stock up or start a cute collection.
